Gambia have been handed a difficult draw for qualification to the World Cup 2014 in Brazil. The Scorpions have been drawn in Group C with Ivory Coast, Morocco and either Chad or Tanzania.
Gambia currently ranked 100 in the world have never qualified for the finals of a World Cup. The group considered by most as the most difficult contains the Ivory Coast who are aiming to qualify for their third successive finals.
The group kicks off on 11th & 15th November with a two legged tie. Although Gambia are the outsiders of the group, they are more than capable of producing a shock as neighbours Senegal found in qualification to the last tournament.
