GFA PROTOCOL OFFICER DIES
A member of the Gambia Football Association Protocol Committee Sainy Jammeh passed away on Saturday morning 8th October after suffering from a protracted illness.
Sainy was the former chairman of the Women Football committee and registered the success forming of the first national women football team for the country. He served in various football committees for the football association that ushered him to the position of protocol officer after his term as women football chair expired.
A very amiable and respectful young man is married happily with kids. His death coincided with Gambia's game against Burkina Faso in the last group game for CAN 2012.
