The Gambia Football Association will start introducing Press Conferences - The Super Nawettan resort to group post match interviews in place of one on one with the coaches and players. The Press Conference is considered a trial for onward extention to the GFA League competition and related football matches. In each of the five playing venues selected by the Super Nawettan Coordinating Committee, the Sports Journalists Association of The Gambia SJAG will coordinate the process of the Press Conference with help from the ground managers or their assistants.

The GFA Media Officer Bakary B Baldeh two weeks ago met members of the SJAG executive to explore the idea for an orderly manner of post match business with coaches, captains and managers. The Sports journalists body welcomed and embraced the idea as it will ease work and devoid of conflict with opposing stakeholders at the end of each game. The Press Conferences would be held at the periphery of each venues’ perimeter fences just by the side of the fourth referee’s desk.
