The Gambia to host Sierra Leone on 1st Qualifier for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012

Next week sees the first International Football Match of 2012 for The Gambia.  The Gambia Women’s U17 National Team will play host to Sierra Leone in the First Leg Qualifier for the FIFA Women’s U17’s World Cup in Azerbaijan 2012.  

The game is to be played on Sunday 22nd January at 4:30pm at the Independence Stadium in Banjul.    The game represents a great opportunity for The Gambia to qualify for the Women’s U-17’s World Cup. 

The winners of the tie will go forward to the 2nd Qualifiers to be staged between the 9th and 25th March.  The three winners will then go to the finals to represent Africa.
